Concentrate of biologically active humic substances
SPECIFICATIONS
- Fortehum is a modified potassium salt of humic acids.
- It is produced in the form of fine metal bright flakes of dark brown color.
- It is soluble in alkalis, in warm and cold water.
- The pH of the 10% water solution is about 10.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Best results are obtained if FORTEHUM is applied:
- with liquid fertilisers
- on poor and sandy soils
- in the first phases of plant growth
APPLICATION
The preparation is always applied in liquid form during whole vegetative period of the plants on soil or foliary. It can be used either on its own or in combination with fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides.
The basic solution is prepared by diluting of 1 part FORTEHUM to 4 parts of water. Power gradually under permanent stirring Fortehum into the mixer with water, until totally diluted.
The FORTEHUM solution is then used in the preparation of seeds for sowing, for macerating the roots of transplant stock, in all methods of irrigation, and by spraying.
GENERAL USE RECOMMENDATIONS
FORTEHUM may be applied with liquid fertilisers, herbicides, pesticides, in water, injected through all irrigation systems, as a plant or seed soak or directly applied to soil surface.
Always dilute Fortehum with water before use!
Always do a test sample first to check for compatibility!
FORTEHUM is not compatible with highly acidic solutions. Solutions containing cations of magnesium, zinc and calcium may create insoluble, applicable precipitates.
When precipitates appear in combination with herbicides or pesticides do not apply.
Basic solution is gently alkaline but not toxic.
APPLICATION OF THE BASIC SOLUTION:
I. Seeds, cuttings and nurselings treatment
- Maceration of seeds
- dilute 1 litre of the basic solution in 50 l water. Spread the seeds in a thin film on some absorbing material, moisten them and allow to dry.
- Maceration of roots of wood species, cuttings and nurselings
- dilute1litre of the basic solution per 50 - 100 l water. Macerate shortly before planting.
II. Foliar application by irrigation or spraying
The basic solution is used in a batch of 5 - 10 l per hectare. Dilute with water in applicator:
- by field crops in 200 - 400 l of water per hectare
- by special crops 400 - 2000 l per hectare
- by vegetable and flowers dilute the basic solution on 3% concentration (dilute 300ml of the basic solution in 10 l of water)
Introduction for mixing with other substances
- do not mix concentrates but already diluted water solutions.
- during filling of the sprayer tank with water add basic solution of FORTEHUM.
- after filling of 2/3 of the tank, add other substances and fill the tank.
Apply repeatedly from 3 to 5 times during the vegetative cycle, at intervals of 2 - 4 weeks. First application mostly in the beginning of the intensive growth.
Notice: Maximum dose is 50 litres per hectare per year

- nursery plants, fruit trees, trees etc.
- ornamentals and flowers
- lawns, turfs, athletic fields etc.
- agricultural field crops
- special crops (hop, vine crops, citruses etc)

INFORMATION ON PREPARATION AND HANDLING, AND RESTRICTIONS ON USE
When handling the product, always wear a respirator to protect against inhalation of particles. As the water solution of FORTEHUM is highly alkaline, avoid getting it on the skin or in the eyes. If it happens, rinse with fresh water. If swallowed, dilute with a large quantity of water or milk. Contact your physician immediately.
